Description

Technical Co Founder

We are seeking a senior backend systems engineer to join as a Technical Co Founder and own the core architecture of Syndril’s ontology driven intelligence platform.

This role requires deep experience in distributed systems, backend architecture, data infrastructure, and production reliability. The Technical Co Founder will lead the hardening of our graph based query layer, data ingestion infrastructure, multi tenant architecture, and deployment strategy.

You will be responsible for transforming a functional MVP into a production grade platform capable of supporting mid market and enterprise deployments. This includes scalability, performance optimization, security foundations, and long term architectural direction.

This is a high ownership role. You will operate as the technical authority of the company and shape the infrastructure that powers our ontology driven intelligence layer.

Experience with data engineering, distributed compute, graph systems, or AI driven query systems is strongly preferred. Background in machine learning or AI systems is a significant advantage but not required.

We are building infrastructure, not a feature app. This requires long term thinking, disciplined engineering, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
