Location: Remote | Commitment: Full-time / Equity-based (early-stage)
About the Project:
Label-in-a-Box is an AI-powered platform that automates the entire music creation and release process — from beat to distribution. Built for independent artists, the system acts as a full-service digital label in your pocket, handling production, accountability, and analytics automatically.
The Role:
We’re looking for a technical co-founder to join at the ground floor and help build, scale, and evolve the product into a global platform for creators. You’ll collaborate directly with the founder to refine the MVP, expand automation layers, and lead technical direction.
Responsibilities:
- Own backend and frontend development (FastAPI, Vite/React preferred).
- Architect scalable systems for AI, automation, and data tracking.
- Integrate APIs for music, distribution, and analytics workflows.
- Guide product roadmap, tech stack, and deployment strategy.
- Collaborate on growth experiments and feature iterations.
Ideal Background:
- Strong Python + JavaScript (TypeScript/React) skills.
- Experience with FastAPI, automation tools (Make/Zapier), or AI integrations.
- Interest in music tech, creator tools, or SaaS products.
- Startup mindset — fast iteration, low ego, problem-solver.
