CTO & Technical Co-Founder (Equity-based, Berlin)

About the Project

We are an early-stage startup based in Berlin, currently moving from a validated concept to a scalable product. Our initial frontend is built in HTML, and we are now at a critical pivot point where we need to rewrite the entire architecture into React to support our future growth and feature roadmap.

What We Are Looking For

I am seeking a hands-on, visionary CTO / Technical Co-Founder who is passionate about building clean, efficient, and scalable web applications. You should be comfortable taking full ownership of the tech stack and leading the transition from a static HTML structure to a modern React-based environment.

The Role & Roadmap

  • Architect & Build: Lead the migration of our current HTML frontend to a robust React architecture.
  • Strategy: Partner with me to define the technical roadmap and future feature set.
  • Collaboration: We will start with a Trial Period (1-3 months) to ensure our working styles and visions align before formalizing a long-term equity agreement.

Compensation & Commitment

  • Equity-Only (Founding Partner): As we are in the pre-funding stage, this is a sweat-equity role. Significant equity will be granted to the right partner.
  • Self-Funded Operations: I am personally funding all operational costs (servers, tools, marketing, etc.) to ensure we have the resources needed to build without financial friction.
  • Location: Berlin-based (hybrid/on-site preferred for brainstorming and strategy sessions).
